Entry Requirements for the Foundation degree in Business and Management
Successful applicants to the programme will have a combination of academic qualifications, experience and motivation and show the potential to complete their chosen course successfully.
In practice, those aged under 21 should, for example, normally have as a minimum one of the following:
- one full 'A' level
- an Advanced GNVQ, NVQ or other level 3 vocational qualification
- an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship which includes level 3 qualifications
Students over the age of 21 when they start their course are not always expected to have formal qualifications. They may be able to gain a place through attending a course which helps them demonstrate the learning from their prior experience.
All entrants need to have GCSE grade C, or its equivalent, in English and Mathematics.
